So!  You have cleared that garage out and hopefully you won't have much to store now.......OR WILL YOU?

So you park the car in the garage or contact the builders to come and make a room out of it for you.

AND then you store all your stuff in a Storage Pod.  Yes, a storage pod.  Heard of those?

There are many different kinds, like somebody ELSE'S empty garage maybe but here is the lowdown about Storefirst in Blackburn  (Well, Darwen actually).  It is such a neat, neat idea and it may save your marriage too!

It is located right alongside the M65 which goes from just south of Preston, crosses the M6 & M61 and ends at Colne.

The facilites available are little short of amazing.  I went to see it and the first thing I noticed was....It's absolutely huge!





The storage pods come in various different sizes and you can get advice from the friendly staff there as to what might suit your needs.

There is a rental tool on the website so you can see how much it might cost.  They can quote so you can compare and they say they won't be beaten on price.  I love it!

Your rental fee includes rates and water and there is no VAT to pay.  They can provide phone lines and power and there is plenty of free parking there.

Need some packaging materials/supplies?  They stock these too if you need them.

They have free pickup for customers who rent for a minimum period and they even have a gym.........I'll give you a moment to take that in............they have a gym.



You know, there was a flooring company operating their business out of Storefirst Blackburn.  I was gobsmacked!  The possibilities are endless.





Some people keep their cars in a storage pod!

If you are moving/relocating and the place you are going to live in doesn't coincide for you with your moving in date you can store all your household in a storage pod or if it is more convenient you can use two or three smaller units instead of a large one.

It is a perfect place to operate a business from.  You can use it like a P.O.Box address, you can have deliveries made there and send stuff out from there.  Oh, if only you knew all the things you can do with/from a storage pod!
